As you are well aware, in the current chaotic world, whose developments are taking place with great speed and acceleration, the world is moving towards multi-polarization. America and Europe on the one hand, China and Russia on the one hand, and Islamic countries with about 2 billion people and huge resources of oil, gas and mines, which is a blessing and gift from God, on the other hand. As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic has emphasized many times, if we neglect the current critical situation of the world and do not find our correct position, perhaps we will once again be tens or even hundreds of years behind the ignorance of science, knowledge, economy and Islamic dignity. let's fall Therefore, the unity, cooperation, empathy and harmony of the Islamic world is necessary and inevitable.

In this critical time, we academics, as pioneers, future makers and beacons of society, have a serious and important duty. Each of us, in the field of knowledge and expertise of Aman, should give intellectual help to the people, rulers, politicians and managers of the society and help them in making accurate and correct decisions and planning of the society. Therefore, academicians and scientists of the Islamic world should gather together in various specialized conferences and conventions in cultural, scientific and even political and security fields and share efforts and common thoughts.

The Regional Symposium on Innovation in Science and Technology has been proposed for this purpose by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, which is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Iran and even Islamic countries. This university now has about 4000 students from the countries of the region, thanks to the existence of the blessed and full light of Hazrat Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza against thousands of tahih and sana, it is the leading university of Iran in this field. One of the goals of this symposium is cooperation at a higher level, that is, scientific and cultural cooperation at the level of professors of universities in the Islamic world, and especially in the countries of the resistance region, such as Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, etc. Because professors and scientists can have an important impact on the fate of their own countries. The aim is that this symposium will be held every year in one of the countries of the region and will become a family tree that the Islamic world will benefit from its results for many years. I hope that this symposium will continue and by God's grace, it will bring us to our goals and destination.
