Abstract :
The control of underground water is an important issue in the construction of underground structures in the rock mass, and its lack of control can be the main reason for the cost and limitation in the tunnel construction program. Studying the characteristics and geometry of fractures for sealing underground structures will play an important role in reducing costs. Most of the fluid volume is transported through interconnected fractures. The Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) method is a method that models the fluid flow in rock masses along connected fractures [1]. Random methods to display these fractures can be considered as a suitable tool to investigate their behaviour. In this research, the hydraulic behavior of the fracture network around the tunnel will be studied using a 3D random fracture numerical mode. This code will be the basis for optimizing the injection pattern
