Abstract :
Over the past decade, catalyst engineering has played a vital role in advancing the controlled growth and manipulation of Vertically Aligned Carbon Nanotubes (VACNTs). This comprehensive exploration of research articles and discussions from recent years has shed light on the profound impact of catalysts on VACNT characteristics and structures. Catalyst engineering has enabled precise control over VACNT dimensions, including length, morphology, and spatial arrangements, through innovative strategies such as catalyst reservoirs, buffer layers, and prediction-driven designs. These advancements have far-reaching implications across diverse fields, ranging from materials science to nanotechnology.
