Highly efficient dye removal using magnetic graphene oxide/Mg-Al layered double hydroxide nanocomposite

چکیده :
This work reports the synthesis of magnetic graphene oxide and Mg-Al layered double hydroxide (MGO/LDH) nanocomposite as an efficient adsorbent for the removal of Methylene blue (MB) from wastewater. The data were more compatible with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Langmuir, Freundlich and Tempkin isotherm models were investigated. Due to the synergistic effects of MGO and LDHs in the nanocomposite, the removal efficiency was improved to 93.8% for MB from wastewater by MGO/LDH.
